On Thursday December 13th, NEFA (New England Foundation for the Arts) and WBUR 90.9 FM collaborated to hold a public conversation about monuments and their role in shaping public space, memory, and culture. This conversation explored how monuments shape our understanding of who and what is “the public” and how monuments can honor stories that we want to carry into the future. This event was held at the Roxbury Innovation Center in the heart of Boston in Roxbury.
