With support from NEFA and collaborating partners in Alaska, Ping Chong + Company (PCC) will conduct a feasibility study: outlining a future tour of ALAXSXA|ALASKA to respond to community invitations, including cultivating partnerships with Alaska Native corporations and health and social service organizations in new regions, and strategizing funding. PCC will collaborate on developing and piloting School & Community Curriculum of culturally responsive, place-based workshops, lessons, and facilitation structures. PCC artistic collaborators Ryan Conarro and Gary Upay’aq Beaver (Yup’ik) will lead this effort, with PCC staff, and leaders of two key Alaskan partner organizations.
