Dan Froot will return to Martha's Vineyard with 'Pang!' to continue critical conversations around food insecurity that were sparked when The Yard presented his earlier work, 'Who's Hungry', back in 2013. The Yard will partner with local organizations working to address food insecurity on the island to plan a free Community Lunch and Island Gleaning farm workday with Froot and his collaborators. Two performances of 'Pang!' will take place as part of the 2019-2020 WINTER YARD series, which serves the Vineyard's year-round population of around 17,000 in the months when the challenges of living in a rural place with a tourist-driven economy —including food insecurity— are most prevalent.
