The result of an Expeditions Tour Planning Grant, The Yard will bring Yanira Castro’s ‘Cast’ and ‘Author’ to Martha’s Vineyard during the 2019 YARD ARTS Summer Season. ‘Author’ will be on display at Featherstone Center for the Arts from June 30 - July 14, 2019, followed by two performances of ‘Cast’ on July 18 and 20 at The Yard’s Patricia N. Nanon Theater. Engagement activities including an opening reception at Featherstone and an Artist Lecture at the Chilmark Free Public Library, which will serve to contextualize the work and provide opportunities for interaction between the community and the artists.
