Aardvark Jazztet, an audience favorite, will perform a lecture-concert and have a Q & A. The Aardvark Jazztet is a sextet drawn from the internationally acclaimed Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, and they will perform a program focused on Ellington. This engagement is a part of a collaboration with the Saint-Gaudens National Historical Site. Together the organizations will offer contrasting complementary programs with the hope of engaging audience members for two days of music, one in an intimate historical church, and the other inside/outside in the studio and on the grounds of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens' home in Cornish, NH during the Saint-Gaudens Memorial's 100th anniversary.
