The Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of womens' suffrage, The Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy is collaborating with Lorraine Chapman, The Company (LCTC), the Interdisciplinary Performing Arts Center (IPAC), and the New Hampshire Dance Collaborative, in the creation of a new, evening-length contemporary dance piece to be performed both in Derry, NH and Dorchester, MA. This piece will be part of a celebration of Women's Voices planned to acknowledge the contributions of women across multiple artistic disciplines. The Stockbridge staff felt strongly, however, that the content of the piece not be dictated, but rather that Lorraine's unique choreographic voice be free to create it.
