Miskodoodiswan (Ojibwe=Red lodge) is an installation that initiates a decolonial dialogue around Murdered and Missing Indigenous Womxn, Two-Spirit people and children. This project braids together Indigenous and non-Indigenous people around the circumstances of settler-colonial genocide and erasure of Indigenous people and culture. The installation blends the artist's traditional ways with artistic practices to create a powerful and inclusive environment for decolonial dialogue and action as well as community connection.
