The Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy

In October of 2020, Pinkerton Academy will present ANIKAYA’s Conference of the Birds, an evening-length multimedia movement theater embodying modern-day stories of migration. Wendy Jehlen, Founder and Artistic Director, is known for her international explorations and creative collaboration. Her unique approach to choreography lends itself to educational outreach, which will engage Pinkerton’s performing arts, cultural geography, and ASL students. Staff have been in direct communication with Wendy since Fall of 2018 and have written letters of support to USCIS and the Doris Duke Foundation to help make the project a reality.
