"Singin' in the Booth" is a new twist on Piti Theatre's "Your Town, The Musical" program which will explore the inner thoughts and feelings of voters from Ridgefield, CT and surrounding communities while casting their ballots in elections across the span of American History. Created as both videos that museum goers can view inside simulated voting booths in the "Twenty Twenty" exhibition and a performance of songs and monologues presented in a cabaret format that will premiere before the video installation opens, "Singin' in the Booth" leverages Piti's expertise in creating dramatic material inspired by local history that resonates with 21st century questions and debates.
