Next Stage Arts Project

Next Stage presents Rob Curto’s renowned forró band, Forró For All, to Putney, Vermont for the first time. Curto, who is widely considered forró’s primary ambassador in the United States, and three of his collaborators will lead a workshop focusing on Brazilian rhythm in a participatory workshop for families and senior citizens followed by an evening performance in August, 2020. The regions’ arts and cultural programming will be enhanced by bringing international music, education, and culture to southern Vermont.
