The Hop will present Contra-Tiempo's "JoyUS JustUS" featuring live music by Las Cafateras as part of its SHIFT Festival on June 29th and 30th, 2021 in the Moore Theater. As part of the engagement, the company will arrive several days before the performances to collaborate with campus and community dancers and non-dancers to rehearse and perform choreography which will feature them as the "community chorus" on stage. Company members will also participate in lectures and workshops as part of a convening of leaders in University arts and humanities programs taking place during that time at Dartmouth focused on advancing collaborative relationships between the United States and Mexico.
