1. What: Please describe the public artmaking project you are proposing. (3,500 character limit) 

2. Why: Why are you (lead applicant/artist) interested in leading this particular public art project? Why now? (2,000 character limit)

4. How and When: Please outline the project workplan and timeline. Note: The grant period is up to 24 months from the start of the grant period (March 1, 2024-February 28, 2026); project timelines may be shorter but must take place within the grant period. (3,500 character limit) 

5. Integrity – Relationship to people and place: Public art practices that reduce people, places, and stories to tools for artmaking are harmful. Reviewers are looking for projects that build trust, accountability, and reciprocity and honor the integrity of the people, places, stories, and ideas – past, present, and future – engaged in the artmaking. To whom is this project accountable? How are you demonstrating accountability in the planning and implementation of this project? Please tell us about your relationship to the people and place where you are implementing this project. (2,000 character limit) 

6. Integrity – Relationship with collaborators: Community-based anchor organization in Massachusetts: Tell us how your organization is uniquely poised to lead this particular project. Why have you chosen to collaborate with this particular artist(s) for this project? (2,000 character limit).
