Place-based creative programming/events (in compliance with public health guidelines) will leverage unique community arts and cultural assets in response to COVID-19's economic impact in the Northeast Kingdom, and then boost recovery efforts by revitalizing rural communities once the pandemic has passed. Catamount will coordinate the events with local communities and artists/arts-orgs to build a regional brand which highlights the "natural social distancing" and rich cultural ecosystem of our rural area in the new COVID­19 reality. Such “Branding” is expected to draw more visitors to the region, thus increasing the dollar flow in the area, creating more jobs and employing artists.
