The funding will be used to support operational costs for the next year and to simultaneously build a platform for marketing and technical assistance to roll out virtual programming during the COVID closures and beyond. Due to theater closings, JAG will lose all revenue from ticketed performances and fundraising events during the next year. We plan to offer non-ticketed virtual programming but want to pay actors and playwrights in these challenging times. Documenting the virtual events will be important for future marketing as well as archival value.
