Abbe Museum

The Abbe Museum's Director of Collections and Research position has been vacant since February, leading to important projects being revised or suspended and the responsibilities of this role being allocated to other staff members. Budget projections as a result of COVID-19 lead us to believe that this critical position cannot be filled until late 2021. This funding will allow us to begin the search and ultimately hire a new Director this year. In further support of this position, we will put funds toward upcoming exhibit development and in repairs that maintain the long-term viability of the building (and ultimately protect our collections and research).
