If awarded this grant, the CSSC will direct New England Arts Reliance funds to help pay for staff and artist fees to plan and implement 2020/21 programs.
Eight Artists in Residence previously selected by the Artist Advisory Committee for 2020 are eager to reschedule their residencies as soon as it is safe to travel without having to quarantine for 14 days. Funds for staff will enable us to provide services for Artists -in - Residence this fall and through next summer.
The Vermont Agency for Commerce and Community Development supports our plan for hosting up to four artists at a time with new cleaning protocols and social distancing to ensure safe operation for artists and staff.
