Ko Festival of Performance

Funding will enable Ko to address the impact of COVID on our operations, including presenting performances & trainings online until we may responsibly gather, & allow us to update our practices to best present our 30th Annual Ko Festival of Performance: 5 weeks in July/Aug. of original, devised work looking at our relationship to the natural world, particularly eco-justice & land use—plus rehearsal residencies & workshop intensives. We’ll close by banding with the Network of Ensemble Theaters & a group of local ensembles to host “ENSEMBLE: Seeding the Future,” a 4-day professional development & cross-pollination opportunity for local & national artists, & other arts sector professionals.
