The Truer History of the Chan Family, A Virtual Vaudeville, in English with Chinese subtitles, explores the impact of America's legacy of anti-Asian legislation and sex trafficking on three generations of the playwright's Chinese American family – peasants sold into prostitution and turned trafficker when legitimate employment became impossible. THCF celebrates the interactive hybridity of apps from Insta to TikTok to now old school Zoom to create a show made for our Covid times.
