Young Boston migrant youth-leaders/poet-chefs will collaborate with Adobo-Fish-Sauce and I Learn America to cook up stories - poignant, provocative, but always flavorful - that'll help participants to: create public art that celebrates their cultural identity; share meals with cross-cultural dialogue; and engage family and communities to better understand their humanity, thus challenging racist stereotypes. We combine cooking and poetry because each tells stories, delicious on their own, but richer/more imaginative when combined. We'll redefine home through creative interventions both within families and within public spaces. Here, everyone has a seat at the table.
