Saboteuse

Making footwear by hand, I practice a rare and highly-skilled craft that depends on public exposure for its survival. I am slowly moving my workspace out of an isolated studio context into the public realm to engage people with this attractive process: what I do draws people in. I intend to pursue an informative session of casting a boot in bronze with Buccacio Sculpture Services to learn how that phase affects the pieces I make in leather.
