This proposal is to create a series of three transformative BIPOC drum circle events that include evocative drumming performances in collaboration with community wellness organizations. These events will take place at The Guild, a BIPOC Wellness Center in Dorchester - this Fall, and Winter of 2022. In addition to hosting limited-size live audiences, we will videotape for immediate online streaming and edit into segments for future presentations. Our program includes Otha Day’s evocative “DRUM TO TALK” program for developing wholeness and powerful performances with experienced drummers and modern storytellers that contain guided, visual imagery.
