Funds will support "Omega Jade and Friends" to launch Omega's new album "Elevate:The Rise of Mama MC" through a series of four live outdoor and two remote interactive hip hop and spoken word performances in Vermont and New England. The launch event will be held Mother's Day weekend, two other events will be held on Juneteenth weekend, and the fourth event will be held at a date to be determined. Omega and her fellow artists- Harmony Edosomwan and Rajnii Eddins- are registered members of the Clemmons Family Farm’s Vermont African American and African Diaspora Artists’ Network. The performance at the Clemmons farm will include audience participation in the filming of a new music video.
