FirstWorks will present Etienne Charles as part of FirstWorks approach to summer “The Outdoors is the New Indoors”, at the historic band-shell in Roger Williams Park, the crown jewel of the Providence, RI park system. Charles’ melding of the music of his Trinidadian homeland with styles of New Orleans, make this performance the centerpiece of a Carnivale afternoon, featuring local performers and puppets as a highlight afternoon for the reinvention PVDFest.
