Sandglass Theater

Excerpts from “Marvelous Metamorphoses” and a puppet workshop by Adelka Polak’s Sova Dance and Puppet Theater will be presented at Puppets in Paradise 2021. Sandglass Theater’s most beloved community event, Puppets in Paradise, brings together artists and audience for a two-day celebration of theater arts and agrarian traditions of Southern Vermont. “Marvelous Metamorphoses” and workshop, for grades Pre-K – 6th, unravel the bizarre and beautiful transformations found in our natural world like caterpillar to butterfly, polliwog to frog, and more. Sova Dance and Puppet Theater dance and sing their way through cycles of life and celebrate our sustained joy and ecological health on this planet.
