Excerpts from “Judy Saves the Day” by Sarah Nolen will be presented at Puppets in Paradise 2021. Sandglass Theater’s most beloved community event, Puppets in Paradise, brings together artists and audience for a two-day celebration of theater arts and agrarian traditions of Southern Vermont. After being pushed around for over 400 years, the famous hand puppet heroine Judy has had enough! Cheer her on as she goes on a quest for respect, justice, and a well-deserved nap. This modern interpretation of the traditional "Punch and Judy" show is a hilarious, timely farce that the whole family will enjoy. “Judy Saves the Day” is appropriate for ages 4 to adult.
