REDCAT

REDCAT will present Let 'im Move You: This Is a Formation by jumatatu poe & Donte Beacham on September 16-18, 2021. Compelled by J-Sette’s specific rules around formation and order, the new project confronts meanings, real and imaginary, of black queered bodies in public assembly. This work, performed by 8 Black dancers with multimedia, will be presented at three locations: at REDCAT, on the sidewalks of historically Black neighborhoods, and in queer-centered nightclubs in Los Angeles.
