Raw Art Works

Raw Art Works (RAW) was in the final stages of creating our new 5-year strategic plan when the pandemic hit, followed by George Floyd's death and the national reckoning with our country's systemic racial and economic injustices. The deep impact of these events on our community, one of the hardest hit by COVID-19 in MA and largely comprised of immigrants, people of color and frontline workers, forced us to revisit the goals of our new strategic plan. In the revision, we integrated equity into all of the plan's goals and we emphasized the critical need for RAW to engage more deeply in our community. This funding will help us to hire a new Community Engagement Manager and pursue related goals.
