The pandemic continues to bring about challenges every day. This summer, we felt confident moving forward and booking full-capacity indoor events beginning September 1, due in large part to the optimism and promise brought about by the availability of vaccines. Unfortunately, the Delta variant and local levels of "substantial transmission" have us feeling vulnerable again, in terms of talent availability, audience return, and of course our overall impact on public health. This additional funding will allow us to retain - and importantly, rebuild - staffing levels, continue to make investments in artists and performers, and provide a bridge to the real return of capacity.
