Artspace New Haven

Funding would underwrite a new staff role and a re-envisioned City-Wide Open Studios program, one of our major points of community connection that until now has predominantly served white artists and audiences. This support will provide funding for the development and implementation of new initiatives leading up to and after CWOS (now called Open Source) that will transition it from being a stand-alone occasion to inspiring a year of exciting new interactions and programs, enabling Artspace to deeply engage with community stakeholders and create multiple points of access for teenagers and adults to inform an inclusive and more equitable model.
