One of today’s most in-demand choreographers, Kyle Abraham mixes modern, contemporary, ballet and hip-hop dance. The winner of a prestigious MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship and a Doris Duke Artist Award, Abraham has been commissioned to create work for companies such as Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and New York City Ballet. His company of 11 dancers, Abraham.In.Motion (A.I.M), performs An Untitled Love – a thumping mixtape celebrating culture, family and community set to the music of R&B legend D’Angelo. There will be one 90-minute performance presented to the Santa Barbara community on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 7 pm at UCSB's Campbell Hall. The performance is part of three-day residency during which A.I.M will give three dance master classes for university-student and community members.
