“The Deposition of Moss Rose” gathers a multidisciplinary cast to respond to a manifesto calling for artificial reproduction, communal child-rearing, and “cybernetic communism.” The cast will collectively devise scenes based on discussions of the text, while each member will also create their own short performance. With actor-creators working across mediums ranging from poetry to sound art, the piece will resemble a deposition-cum-variety show, where ideological discord interrupts cohesive narrative, and responds to urgent issues of futurity.
