Flux Projects presents the breathtaking artistry of BANDALOOP in the world premiere of FIELD, October 1 – 3. Exploring the history, artistry, and business of the textile industry, FIELD will juxtapose the human and environmental impact of the fashion industry with the cultural power of cloth to hold, comfort, and adorn. For this work artistic director Melecio Estrella and the BANDALOOP performers will be joined by fashion designer IB Bayo, composer Ben Juodvalkis, theater artist and vocalist Chibueze Crouch, spoken word artist Wailana Simcock, and sustainability strategist Catherine Bottrill. Free performances daily, October 1 – 3, 5:30pm, on the façade of the 725 Ponce building overlooking the BeltLine.
