Celebrity Series of Boston

Guitarist and vocalist Albino Mbie and returns to Celebrity Series in November with his Trio for a performance featuring Mozambican jazz and original songs done in his signature global, feel-good style at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Mattapan. Then in February he will hold an African song residency with teens in the Tour Choir of the Boston City Singers, which provides comprehensive music instruction to over 500 young people annually in under-resourced Boston communities. This will culminate in a shared performance for the Boston Home.
