The Spaces of Belonging Mural Project at English High School (EHS) will be created in partnership by teens from the Eliot School’s Teen Bridge Program, muralists GoFive and TakeOne, arts educator Jasmanie Gonzalez, and the EHS community. As EHS students return to school for their first full school year in person after the pandemic, the Spaces of Belonging mural creation process invites them to celebrate the beauty of their community and helps them to reconnect to their physical space. The final artwork will be shaped by the EHS and Teen Bridge youth and will be a lasting reminder of the power of creativity and the resilience of the school community, young people, families, and neighborhood.
