Danielle Amodeo, Mina Kim, and Danya Sherman

Danielle Amodeo (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director of Communications and Public Programming at the Mead Art Museum and an independent consultant. She is passionate about supporting strategic institutional change and using relational organizing models to promote antiracism and accessibility within arts and cultural organizations. She has collaborated on projects with the Clark Institute of Art, Creative Time, The Culture LP, Dentsu Aegis Network, the Frick Collection, New York City Council, Teen Vogue, and more. Danielle serves on the boards of the Amherst Center Cultural District, the Arts at Amherst Initiative, and the Northampton Arts Council. Mina Kim (she/her/hers), Mina Kim works with community members at the local, regional and state levels to create shared learning opportunities, cross-sector relationship-building, and strategic planning, most recently having been at the Mass Cultural Council and The Fenway Alliance. Currently, Mina advises several projects including Filmbuilding Malden, a creative community development initiative in Malden, as well as for the Destination Design School of Agricultural Estates, an art and design school founded by Euneika Rogers-Sipp that cultivates intergenerational wealth in the Black Belt South. Mina holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Smith College.

Danya Sherman (she/her/hers), Director and Consultant of Sherman Cultural Strategies, supports just and equitable systems change through organization development and collective creative expression so that communities have the resources they need to determine their futures and thrive. She was a Senior Consultant on the Research Strategies team at ArtPlace America until its planned sunset in December, 2020. In addition to her consulting work, she teaches courses on cultural equity and community development. Her writing and journalism has been published in Shelterforce, Next City, Take Shape and by Rutgers University Press. She has addressed audiences at Providence Athenaeum, the Boston Society of Architects, the New School, Drexel University, and elsewhere on equitable urban development, community engagement, public space, and the cultural dimensions of public transit and trains.
