Honolulu Theatre for Youth is putting together a small gathering in late May around several projects, one being The Pa’akai We Bring. The gathering will take place over May 26-28, with a sharing of research, songs and stories from The Pa’akai We Bring, a discussion about the production, healing, intentional touring, and building reciprocity between artists and venues. There will also be opportunities to learn about other works by Honolulu Theatre for Youth including The Royal School, The Carp Who Would Not Quit and Other Important Animal Stories, and Imi A Loaa: Search and Find, the company’s new augment reality theatrical experience. In addition to all of this, the trip is an excellent opportunity spend time with and get to know better the company, Honolulu Theatre for Youth, and explore their home with them.
