Alliance Theatre

The Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre has always been committed to producing work for all ages, sending large scale musicals to Broadway while simultaneously creating original work for babies. The Alliance Theatre is currently embarking on a major expansion of the work it produces for youth and family audiences and part of the strategy involves presenting work from other regions in addition to producing original shows. This trip will afford the Alliance the opportunity to experience the original production I Lala Mauliola from Honolulu Theatre for Youth in the context of its community—a piece that could ultimately be shared with a very different community presented on one of the Alliance Theatre stages in Atlanta, GA.
