BarnArts is pleased to invite Zili Misik to perform August 11th at our Thursday Night Music Series at Feast and Field, located in the apple orchards of Fable Farm Fermentory in Barnard, Vermont. This popular community event draws people of all ages to the inspiring setting of a working farm for world class artists from near and far. Zili Misik is a talented all women ensemble based in Boston playing music inspired by the various traditions of the African Diaspora. In addition to an inspiring performance, the show will feature a dance workshop and a music workshop and conversation before the show. The workshop, "Songs of Freedom" is a hands on workshop that explores musical connections throughout the African diaspora.
