ArtsEmerson's Director of Artistic Programming Ronee Penoi traveled to Los Angeles to see NTP-funded project Mark-n-Sparks (The Most Beautiful Home...Maybe) and associated neighborhood walking tour for consideration for inclusion in ArtsEmerson’s 23-24 season. The trip served as an opportunity to spend time meeting with the artists Mark Valdez, Ashley Sparks, producer of the project (and Mixed Blood Artistic Director) Jack Reuler, and to connect with Edgar Miramontes, fellow NTP advisor and Deputy Executive Director & Curator of REDCAT, who is the LA presenter of the Mark-n-Sparks project.
