Mayo Street Arts will present Krystal Puppeteers' "Tears by the River" in Portland, Maine as part of an international puppet festival. This Kenyan ensemble will join three other puppet troupes for a week long festival from September 20-25, 2022. In addition to two public performances, Krystal Puppeteers will offer a workshop for members of the Traditional Arts Network, which is a consortium of Rwandan, Burundi, Congolese, Somali, and Somali-Bantu artists living in Maine.
