The Wexner Center for the Arts (Wex) will present the Midwest’s debut performances of “Black Body Amnesia” by Brooklyn-based choreographer Jaamil Olawale Kosoko, developed as part of his two-year residency at the center. Kosoko and his collaborators will perform the 35-minute show—exploring Black and queer identity, and featuring movement, live music, and narration—twice on June 17, 2022 in a Wex gallery, with Kosoko’s multimedia visual artwork as a backdrop. Performances will also be simulcast in an adjacent theater venue and available for viewing online.
