Northrop Dance Series

Northrop’s 2022-23 Dance Series will present Ballet Hispánico’s Doña Perón, Feb 20-25, 2023.

Ballet Hispánico will engage students, faculty, and community members in meaningful discussions and exploration through a live in-person student matinee on Feb 24, on-demand through March 3; an evening public performance on Feb 25; and community engagements Feb 20-24 partnering with Project Success, Minneapolis Public Schools, Greater Minnesota schools and local Latinx groups. This presentation and engagements are planned as in-person, livestream and on-demand events at Northrop and off-site residency locations. Engagement activities will provide access tickets for university students and under-resourced youth and families; workshops and community dance classes for university students as well as community dance enthusiasts and professionals taught by company artists; and a performance preview and a post-show Q&A discussion with visiting artists open to the public.
