Hernán Darío Jourdan has secured a residency in Paris, France in February 2023. While attending this residency, Jourdan will use PALF funds to extend his research into opportunities of exchange with other public artists & institutions practicing community engagement as a part of their practice. These exchanges will include the poet/artist collective “Les Souffleurs Commands Poétiques”; Galery Allen, which supports the work of Angelica Mesiti, Australian artist who investigates migration, community and cultural heritage through music, performance and video. Hernán will also visit La Cité des Arts de la Rue in Marseille, school for circus arts and street performance; and L’Espace Frans Krajcberg, one of the precursors of art made with environmental considerations to nature.
