Jazzmobile, founded in 1965 is the first U.S. not-for-profit arts and cultural organization created just for Jazz, is pleased to support the Urban Bush Women presentation of Haint Blu at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, in West Harlem, June 10th – June 18th.
As an active partner and utilizing our vast network of community partners, Jazzmobile will serve as a key connector to supportive community-based arts, civic, and service organizations, as well as, Harlem residence, leaders, educators, advocates, youth, seniors, and artists to participate in a series of integrative residency activities taking place between May 30 – June 12 that integrate their voices and experiences into the development of Haint Blu.
Community Partners include West Harlem Arts Alliance, Harlem Arts Alliance, Harlem Arts & Culture Initiative, and Manhattan Community Board 9, Harlem Advocates for Seniors, The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, Jazzmobile Volunteers, and others.
