Sandglass Theater

Now entering its 19th season, Winter Sunshine is Southern Vermont’s favorite theater program dedicated to serving children, families and teachers through the art of puppetry. In February 2024 Sandglass Theater will present four programs that specialize in puppet theater for family audiences. On February 7th, Sandglass Theater, in collaboration with the Latchis Theater in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont will present Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers “The Legend of the Banana Kid” a mock-western comedy for all ages. This presentation will be two all school shows inviting local schools in and around the Brattleboro School district, accommodating upwards of 700 students. On Saturday Feb 10th Sandglass will present Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers for two shows at our theater in Putney, VT for local families. We are thrilled for Frogtown’s third engagement with us, developing our relationship and serving core aspects of our programming through collaboration and subsidized school showings.
