Contando Nuestras Historias: Public Art by Dancing Elotes is a place-based creative place keeping project in East Boston that aims to narrate community stories through community conversations, mural art-making, and digital archiving. Young leaders will design and co-facilitate intergenerational dialogues with the support of local artists to translate these stories into a large-scale public mural to be showcased during VROCC’s El Día de los Muertos Festival in November 2024. The project's goal is to capture stories in public spaces, showcasing untold immigrant narratives in both English and Spanish. Participants will document the process through digital recordings, creating a podcast that will serve as an archive. www.vrocc.org twitter.com/vroccboston www.instagram.com/vroccboston/ www.facebook.com/VeronicaRoblesCulturalCenter www.youtube.com/c/VeronicaRoblesCulturalCenterVROCC https://www.linkedin.com/company/3297012/admin/
