Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre will present “When I Put On Your Glove”, a puppet theatre performance by Sandglass Theater, for one performance as part of the New Century Series in spring 2024. The engagement includes a post-show discussion and a public puppetry workshop led by Sandglass’ Co-Artistic Director and solo performer in the show, Shoshana Bass. In its 100th year, the Strand Theatre has launched the New Century Series (NCS) to determine the feasibility of functioning as a presenting organization. The NCS brings new works and new artists to new spaces in midcoast Maine, and “When I Put On Your Glove” will be the final installment in the series.
