Honolulu Theatre for Youth

This project will be to transition HTY Artistic Associate, Moses Goods into a mentorship/leadership role assisting our ensemble to move forward as a culturally appropriate and indigenous facing organization as we widen their community outside of Hawaii. These efforts will include accompanying the ensemble on tours to indigenous communities, mentoring the ensemble in protocols, residency work, leading in how we represent Hawaiian culture in both indigenous and non-indigenous spaces and in building new relationships within these communities. Most critically, he will lead us in remaining appropriately connected to our Hawaiian and Pacific Island communities, especially in our relationship to the salt farming community from Kauai that we represent in the NTI touring work THE PAAKAI WE BRING.
