The Middlebury Performing Arts Series will present The Acting Company’s production of August Wilson’s Two Trains Running in February 2025.

A multi-disciplinary residency will surround the project to build context and understanding of Wilson’s work, including: a master class with the company, screenings of acclaimed film versions of Wilson’s plays, a panel discussion on Wilson’s impact and legacy, a Q&A with the artists, and connections with academic departments and community organizations. By carefully constructing this residency to build momentum and buzz, we plan to foster a thoughtful dialogue about American race and power across our on- and off-campus communities.
