BDF will host Shakia Barron for a week of performance and engagement events. She will present new work in an evening performance with Jackie Lopez, create rep with BDF students, host a community Hip Hop class, and participate in a Hip Hop panel discussion which she has also organized with such Hip Hop luminaries as Jackie “Miss Funk” Lopez, Emilio “Buddha Stretch” Austin Jr., Anthony “YNOT” Denaro, Michele “LadyByrd” Byrd-McPhee, and Daniel “DJ DP One” Pinero.
